Probing the manipulation of antiferromagnetic order in CuMnAs films using neutron diffraction

We describe measurements of the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy and spin-flop rotation Néel vector in antiferromagnetic CuMnAs thin films using neutron diffraction. The suppression (100) peak under fields is observed for as 20 nm, indicating that they undergo a transition. Good agreement found between diffraction electrical transport same layer with similar shape hysteresis obtained curves, while provide quantitative determination spin flop extending throughout antiferromagnet layer.
